If you want your fresh roasted coffee to last and stay fresh, be sure to remember the following rules:
· Keep your coffee sealed (we use a sealable coffee bag for this reason)!
· It is critical to keep oxygen, moisture, and light away from your coffee.
· Never store coffee in the refrigerator, even if it’s sealed.
· Freeze any excess coffee (whole bean only).
· Thaw before you grind (never grind frozen beans)!
You may also choose to store your beans in an air tight glass jar. But remember to store it in a dark closet.
For most drip coffee makers, start with one standard coffee scoop per 6oz. of water. Use fresh, filtered, or even bottled water. |
